Working with Hannah Loomis

When I meet with you I bring my whole self, including my own foibles and struggles. It means I’ll be real with you—and people tend to find that lets them be real with me.

I want to dispel the idea that there’s some mystical and mythic Yoga person you (and I) need to be. Your job is to show up as you are right now and my job is to help alleviate the suffering so often associated with being afraid of who we are.

A bit more about Hannah

  • I live in Waltham, Massachusetts with my perpetually-in-need-of-entertainment Aussiedoodle, Ella.

  • My beloved daughter lives 3,000 miles away in Seattle, and I’m really getting better at loving that for them.

  • I can’t get enough of creating in almost any medium–sewing, video, music, drawing, bookmaking, graphic design–the list is endless. And so are the related supplies I’m trying to fit into my small apartment, sigh...

  • Playing and writing music has been central to my life since age 6, after a year of begging my parents for piano lessons.
