Hannah Loomis

Among other things, I’m a yoga therapist in training, a photographer, and a musician based in the greater Boston area.

I completed my 200-hour yoga teacher training in 2013 at Down Under Yoga Studio in Newton. At the time I wanted to continue on to study yoga therapy but life conspired to give me a 10-year break before that happened.

Since 2023 I’ve been training with Inner Peace Yoga Therapy, an 800-hour professional Yoga Therapy Certification Program accredited by the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT).

My teaching style is focused on creating a welcoming, warm and safe environment in which to fully relax. Through mantra, pranayama, grounding asana, and guided meditation my students leave classes feeling quietly refreshed.

Within yoga therapy I have a particular interest in trauma recovery.
